The MR900 is a dual band 2.4GHz & 5GHz access point and works with 3 \u00d7 3 MIMO, 900 Mbps. With the introduction of this model, openmesh now also has an access point for the two frequency bands in one compact housing.
\nWith this unit there is support for legacy 2.4GHz devices, and devices with 5GHz which allows both for an optimal connection. The 5GHz band is less affected by interference. Perfect for high-traffic areas such as cafes, lobbies, conference rooms. etc. The unit has 6 internal antennas and with the 3 \u00d7 3 MIMO you can also achieve high wifi speeds (450mbps + 450mbps).
\nThe unit also comes with the 5xx firmware, so that all 5xx functionality (like facebook login, Layer 7 Deep Packet Inspection, OS fingerprinting, ...) is also available for free on the MR900.
\nFurthermore, the unit has a gigabit connection and an outdoor housing is also available so that it can also be used for outdoor locations. The MR900 can be combined in one cloud trax network with other OM2P \/ OM5P units.
\nThe unit can be powered via a directly connected power supply or via a standard 802.3af PoE switch (MR900 does not work with the openmesh passive POE injectors).
