Access Points
The accesspoints consist of the following models:
The OM2P is an access point that runs at 150mbps and has an external antenna connection. The OM2P access point comes standard with an external 3dBi antenna.
The OM2P-HS is optimized for speed and can run at 300mbps. This unit also works with standard POE switches.
There are also two performance access points.
The A42 has 2 radios (one for 2.4 and one for the 5Ghz).
The A62 has 3 radios (one for 2.4Ghz and two for the 5Ghz).
The OM2P / OM2P-HS access points are supplied with a 12V power supply as standard and can also all be connected to the passive POE injector.
The standard 12V power supply can be used with a POE injector, however a heavier 24V power supply is recommended (due to voltage drop across the UTP cable).
The A42 / A62 access points can only be supplied with power via POE (not via a separate power adapter). They can be powered via an AF / AT POE switch or AF / AT POE injector. These access points also have a connection for the passive POE.
