With Cloudtrax you have the possibility to operate a hotspot network very easily and at low cost. The controller is located in the cloud and is accessible via the web. This means you do not need any additional hardware components. While you have a network connection, you can manage and configure your network from any location.
Ideally suited for campsites, hotels or offices that want to provide their guests with Internet access while keeping guests completely separated from the internal company network.
However, the units are also perfecty suited for companies and individuals who need a normal WiFi access point. In particular, the exceptionally good WiFi properties, the low price and the simplicity of connecting and managing the openmesh devices are some of the things that amazes many people (true plug & play).
The OM2P / OM2P-HS / A42 / A62 open-mesh access points are specially designed for Cloudtrax and can transmit at high power to cover a large area.
One unit only needs to be physically connected to the internet with a cable and then the reception range can be expanded by simply adding additional Open-Mesh access points. These access points then make a wireless connection (mesh) with the router that is connected by the cable. Thanks to the mesh functionality, the access points automatically see each other and forward these messages to each other.
Outdoor housings are also available with which the unit (s) can also be easily hung outside.
In addition to the access points, Open-Mesh also has a cloud-managed router and cloud-managed POE switches.

FOUR SSIDS. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.
With the Cloud Controller you can create four unique networks, for example for a "public" and a "private" network. The public network can be customized with powerful captive portal features (welcome page), while your private network can work seamlessly as an extension of your LAN. Each network can be independently renamed, left visible or hidden and with or without password protection like WPA / WPA2 encryption.
YOUR NETWORK. YOUR BRAND.
With CloudTrax you have the option to set up your own welcome page with incredible ease. The user enters a login code and password to gain access to the network. With a built-in WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor, the administrator customizes the appearance of the network welcome page as he sees fit. Design your own page in the style of your website, or get started with one of the many beautiful templates that can automatically scale to laptops, tablets and smartphones. Once connected, users can be redirected to any page of your choice.
END THE NETWORK ABUSE
With the cloud controller you can set upload and download limits per user, so that there is sufficient bandwidth available for everyone. With insight into the data usage of each user, you can manually block individual network abusers. There is also the option to blacklist and the whitelist users. Additionally, CloudTrax now automatically analyzes all network traffic with Layer 7 packet inspection that allows automatic limits to be imposed on troublesome applications.
GET TO KNOW YOUR NETWORK
With real time monitoring CloudTrax shows you exactly what is happening on your network in order for you to manage your users, access points and bandwidth like never before. Bandwidth monitoring and deep packet inspection will give insights into which applications are (ab)using your bandwidth and at what time your peaks are. The 'WiFi users' view gives you complete visibility into the devices on your network, including operating system, nearest access point, connection performance, used bandwidth and more.
FACEBOOK CHECK-IN

NO RECURRING CHARGES
Other cloud networks not only charge a lot of money for the initial hardware, but you also need to buy subcscriptions to keep your access point running. With cloudtrax everything is free.
VOUCHERS
CloudTrax also offers the possibility to generate vouchers for the respective users. For example, the administrator can give the relevant user a ticket containing the login details. If desired, users can also purchase these vouchers via PayPal on the welcome page. The vouchers can be designed within the cloud portal.
SAFE AND TRUSTWORTHY
Open-Mesh is ideal for environments where security is paramount as data is not sent to the cloud servers. A built-in firewall prevents users on the public network from seeing eachother as well as your wired network. For added security, one or both SSIDs can be provided with a WPA key.
PROVEN RELIABILITY
The cloud controller runs in Amazon's secure and reliable EC2 data centers with an uptime of more than 99.9%. Amazon keeps the cloud controller active when you need it. Even if your devices lose connection to the cloud controller, it will not affect your network. That's because there is no network traffic going through the cloud controller.
AUTOMATED FAULT REPORTING.
No time to check the network status daily? Do not worry. If an access point goes down and doesn't come back online within an hour, CloudTrax automatically sends you (and anyone else you designate) an email about the outage. Failure alerts are easy to turn on and off and keep you informed of the operation of your wireless network.
MONITORING
CloudTrax is a cloud-based network controller with free iOS and Android apps, so you can keep an eye on your networks on the go. You get reports on user traffic, node health and mesh speed, all from your smartphone or tablet. For more control, you can also just log in to cloudtrax.com from any browser on any device.
