In August 2015, an 802.11ac model was also added, namely the MR1750. This allows even higher speeds to be achieved (450 + 1300). This unit is initially sold as an AC ready model. At launch, throughput is comparable to the popular MR900. The high speed ac capabilities will become available via future firmware updates, whereby performance will be increased without the need for additional hardware. This model will replace the MR900. With the MR1750 you can make your networks “future proof” with ac hardware, for the same price as the 802.11n hardware.
